TPU cables are a more advanced version of TPE, the material has better wear characteristics along with improved flexibility, feel & resistance to absorbing water/oils. Additionally, TPU material can be thinner and lighter than TPE (approx 500g lighter for a 5m cable) this makes handling of the cable easier.

This will depend on several factors. firstly check if the premises has three phase power (most homes have single phase unless they have a ducted aircon or pool pump installed, check for a 400-415V device, or get your electrician to confirm for you). If you have a single phase connect 7kW will be the limit without an upgrade, if you have three phase we recommend a 22kW (unless there is a supply constraint) as this will permit maximum charging regardless of what vehicle is connected. The vehicle will also limit the charging speed, many vehicles on the market are capped to 7kW due to being single phase AC configuration (these will work on either a single or three phase charging station), others can go higher utilising three phase charging.

Yes, all electrical equipment must be installed by a licensed electrician, some local areas have additional restrictions/ rules in place (eg: Energex requires single phase 7kW chargers to be installed on controlled load [at time of writing], some areas in WA have maximum load limits for properties), it is best to check with your local installer for any additional restrictions.

Any suitably qualified and licensed electrician can install this product, the installation is relatively simple (similar to installing a cooktop) the product must be installed on a dedicated circuit.

Yes (on smart chargers), our M3W/M3B/M3P smart products have a calibration screen which can be accessed via a mobile phone or tablet, in this the total charging Amps can be set to keep the unit from overloading the available supply. Additionally if you wish to set the amps for a specific charging session, this can be done via the app controls (eg: if you want to maximise use of solar, lower the amps during a daytime charging session to prevent additional power being drawn from the grid).

We work closely with a select few manufacturers, we inspect the manufacturing process and each Anzu Charging station is tested at the factory (a new unit will show a small volume of power has cycled through the unit when first installed on the total power meter, this is due to testing). Additionally once the products arrive in Australia each unit is inspected to ensure compliance with local regulations (each unit will then be sealed up with customised print packaging for assurance the unit has not been tampered with upon leaving our warehouse).

 We pride ourselves on taking suitable measures to keep our impact minimised, from carbon offsetting electricity used in our operations, to where practical avoiding single use plastic in our packaging (eg: our small items ship in either compostable bags or cardboard boxes, we avoid use of plastic tapes at our warehouse & although some products have plastic packaging (we believe it wasteful to just replace this once it arrives) we don't add any ourselves instead, instead opting for the most sustainable options available. Our postage is also carbon offset to minimise it's impact on the environment.

Yes, the warranty on Anzu Charging Pty Ltd products covers both domestic and business use. Our M3B products are particularly well suited to business applications with features such as metal rear casing, tough tempered glass front & socket connector instead of tethered cable (to help reduce vandalism opportunities).
