Introducing Charge-Mate
Power restrictions limiting your charging speed? Charge-Mate might be the solution
As more in home EV chargers are installed grid operators are putting more restrictions in place to limit the draw by each property, this already occurs in parts of Vic & WA.
An uncontrolled EV charging station could put you over that limit.
Charge-Mate paired to compatible charging station/s will regulate your vehicle charging speed to keep you under the pre-set limit, this limit could apply to a sub circuit to prevent overload, or limit based on your entire homes power use (as is becoming more common regulation by grid operators).
By sending signals through PLC (Power Line Communication) the Charge-Mate unit can regulate up to 3 charging stations at once, keeping you within limits & compliant whilst still giving you maximum charging speeds when the excess is available.
